Oliver Ambs

Oliver Ambs has worked for BDO since 2001. Since 2009 he has been responsible for company valuations across Switzerland in the Deal Advisory Division.

He has drawn up a large number of expert valuation reports for national and international entities, both privately owned and listed. These reports are used for public tender bids (fairness opinions, minimum price calculations), private purchasing and sales processes or tax issues. Other valuation-related subjects are purchase price allocation and impairment testing in compliance with national and international accounting standards such as Swiss GAAP FER, IFRS and US GAAP.

In his capacity as a company valuation expert, he acts as a party or neutral assessor and compiles expert valuation reports for national and international arbitration panels and courts. He has also appeared as an expert witness in the High Court of Justice in London.­
