Annual Report 2025

The year 2025 demanded clear action. It was a year that called for decisiveness, responsibility and the ability to remain proactive even in the face of uncertainty.

This is precisely where we come in. Our role is to provide guidance when decision-making is complex and to support our clients so they can take timely action and set the right priorities.

An environment that demands integrated thinking

In 2025, the economic and regulatory landscape fundamentally altered the decision-making logic of many companies. Markets, regulation and technology can no longer be viewed in isolation. To ensure long-term success, companies must take an integrated approach – and work with a partner who understands and makes sense of all the interconnected factors.

We pledge to be that partner – not with a focus on short-term responses, but to enable informed and forward-looking decisions. Our performance in the reporting year reflects our success in delivering on this promise: in the financial year 2025, we generated revenue of CHF 293.6 million, representing growth of 4.2 percent compared with the prior year.

Independence: the foundation for our business

For us, maintaining control over our company’s development is vital. Against this backdrop, we welcome BDO Global’s decision to remain independent of external capital investment in the future. This also applies to BDO Switzerland and strengthens our position as an independent partner for our clients.

For us, independence is not merely a formal status, but an integral part of our identity. It provides the foundation for consistently aligning business decisions with the needs of our clients and our people, as well as with the long-term development of our firm.

Technology: a strategic responsibility

Technology remained a key driver of business development in 2025 – and has become much more than just an operational issue. It shapes business models, competitiveness and security.

That is why we view technology as a strategic responsibility and systematically integrate technological considerations into our corporate strategy, corporate governance and risk management. We take a holistic view of artificial intelligence, assessing opportunities, risks and ethical considerations while simultaneously investing in developing our people’s digital skills.

By consolidating our digital departments to create BDO Digital, we have also taken a significant step towards demonstrating our commitment and providing comprehensive support to businesses on their transformation journeys.

Our people: the basis for future development

Sustainable success takes root where people see opportunities and are willing to commit for the long term. That is why we strive to be one of the most attractive employers in Switzerland and continuously invest in structures that strengthen employee retention and facilitate collaboration.

The beginning of the reporting year saw the introduction of a new working and remuneration model that enhances flexibility, transparency and fairness. At the same time, we have systematically embedded our corporate values into the recruitment process and annual performance reviews. Furthermore, we have fully digitalised key HR processes. Clear procedures, less admin and new digital self-service options free up our people to focus on their core tasks.

Our people are the key to extraordinary results. Their expertise and dedication across all regions and functions are what drive our development. It is people who turn strategy into practice and transform aspirations into tangible results.

Responsibility: part of our ethos

For us, being responsible goes beyond simply meeting regulatory requirements. It is about how we approach people, clients and business partners, as well as the environment and society.
